Die 7 Kaffeetypen: Trendy Achiever, Eco Enthusiast, Brand Lover, Price Checker, Quality Seeker, Healthy Lifestyler, Coffee Junkie

Who is the typical coffee drinker?

That is a question that we have also often asked ourselves. And then the probably even more exciting question – which coffee type am I actually? We asked the Austrians and gained many interesting insights.

7 coffee types – this is how coffee lovers tick

Only one thing is better than a cup of good coffee: two cups of good coffee or three? That could be the motto of “Coffee Junkies”. For them, a day at work is unthinkable without coffee. And they can easily drink 5-7 cups of coffee a day, preferably black.

May your coffee be strong today and your Monday short. This accompanies “Trendy Achievers” through their stressful everyday life in which they also readily replace a meal with coffee. Yes, our favourite drink has diverse uses. At any rate, it is a sociable companion. “Eco Enthusiasts” prefer to drink their coffee in company, from a multiple-use cup and with milk or milk alternatives. There, it is about the pure enjoyment that is also paramount for “Quality Seekers” - taste and quality, these are the fundamental arguments in the choice of coffee. True to the motto: Life is too short for bad coffee.

“Brand Lovers” see it more pragmatically and remain true to their favourite coffee brand. What has proven its worth is good – so you can sit back and relax, secure in the knowledge that the coffee will definitely be the right one. It is slightly different with the “Price Checkers” – for them it is primarily the price-performance ratio that counts. And all purists among us will probably find themselves reflected in the group of the “Healthy Lifestylers”. Coffee is pure enjoyment, always freshly prepared and enjoyed hot – and of course black and without sugar. Perhaps also after doing some exercise in the morning but that probably includes a bit more than this recommendation: Start the day with exercise - first let the coffee run through.
