As far as café+co is concerned, sustainability is a business concept which is systematically implemented in all divisions within the meaning of quality assurance from the plant through to the coffee cup. Sustainability is also a key component of our corporate philosophy – based on business relationships that have been developed with our customers and producers over many years.

The idea of sustainability is becoming more popular throughout the world along with an interest in ecological and socially responsible agriculture and the demand for certified coffee. The trend towards sustainability corresponds to the growing need for lasting values and constant standards.

Here at café+co we primarily focus on two criteria:

• Sustainable coffee must, above all, be tasty.
• Customer utility must also be the decisive factor in regard to sustainability.
